Things to do in Livingstone
- Victoria Falls. The Victoria Falls is usually the reason why people visit Livingstone in the first place. It is after all one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Be sure to bring a poncho and an umbrella (if you want to take up-close pictures), because the spray from the falls is quite intense. There is an entrance fee and they only accept cash (100 Kwachas per person), so remember to bring that too.
- Royal Livingston Express. If you're looking for an exclusive dining experience, be sure to book a place on this steam train. The dining cart will take you back in history to the 1940's. The Sun International's Royal Livingstone Hotel provides the food and wine, meaning that both are outstanding. The train ride itself will take you through Dambwa suburb towards the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, so keep those cameras handy!
- Abseil Zambia. Abseiling, Rap Jumping, Flying Fox, Zip Line and the World famous Gorge Swing can all be done here. There are even packages available that squeeze all of these adrenalin-packed activities into one day.
