- Polokwane Museum. This museum is in a Victorian shop that was built in 1906. Here you'll find Stone Age and Iron Age artefacts, as well as a display depicting the colourful cultures of the Limpopo people and other items that tell the story of Polokwane.
- Hugh Exton Photographic Museum. This museum is right across the road from the Polokwane Museum and on display here are 23 000 cultural and historical photographs taken between 1892 and 1945.
- Polokwane Nature Reserve. Here you'll find over 21 species of mammals, including an impressive rhino population. There are also many bird species of which two are the African Hawk-Eagle and the Black-chested Snake-Eagle.
