Things to do in Washington
- Jefferson Memorial. The Jefferson Memorial is to Washington D.C. what the Statue of Liberty is to New York. This is a truly impressive piece of architecture built in the style of the Roman Pantheon. With a 19 foot bronze statue of Jefferson and his quotes on the walls of this building, you'll quickly realise just how impressive and important this founding father truly was.
- John F. Kennedy Centre for the Performing Arts. This centre celebrates the performing arts and there is a free daily show on the Millennium stage. There are also tours on offer which take you through this impressive building and a lovely restaurant with a bar that holds Happy Hour between 5pm-6pm every day. The shows on offer change daily.
