NEW SERVICE: KRUGER TO THE FALLS

Airlink introduces all-jet service between Kruger and Livingstone, Zambia Airlink has enhanced its Kruger-Livingstone service by using one of its 13 Embraer ERJ 135. This will shorten the flying time and give travellers an earlier arrival in Kruger.

The service operates on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays. The flight departs Nelspruit at 11:35 and arrives in Livingstone at 13:10. The return flight departs Livingstone at 13:45, arriving Nelspruit at 15:25

Priority Boarding for SAA flight departures from South African based airports Our latest service initiative will allow passengers to enjoy Priority Boarding for SAA flight departures from airports within South Africa. After an initial 3-month assessment period, we are gearing ourselves to implement this initiative consistently effective 1 March 2012. Shortly after the South African airports roll-out, this initiative will be introduced worldwide creating consistency and professionalism globally.

Priority Boarding signage will be displayed at the boarding gates on the left hand-side of our boarding counters where the following qualifying premium customer segmentation can board: Voyager Lifetime Platinum Members, Voyager Platinum Members, Voyager Gold Members, Star Alliance Gold Members, SAA Business Class Travellers.

In addition to the Priority Boarding for premium customers, we will be boarding from the back of the aircraft and boarding announcements will be made to facilitate this.

SAA INTRODUCES TWO MOBILE APPS

SAA has launched two brand new mobile applications that give you, our loyal customers, access to comprehensive travel and airline information on the go.

Passengers using convenience IOS or Android mobile phones and tablets can now view their booking information, check in for a flight, find the status of their checked–in luggage, and view information surrounding SAA’s lounges, flights and destinations.

"This new service will go a long way to give travellers easier and instant access to information whilst in transit or away from a computer. The new functionalities are also helpful, especially for passengers who are always on the go, such as business travellers," said Marc Cavaliere, SAA’s Head of Global Sales Development and Alliances.

Travellers can download the newly developed mobile applications for their IOS or Android smartphones and tablets from the Apple App Store as well as Google Play Stores respectively.
