Star Alliance Lounges information
As a benefit of our Star Alliance partnership, eligible travellers can enjoy Star Alliance lounges in a number of destinations around the world.
Heathrow Airport
At Heathrow’s new Terminal 2, eligible SAA passengers can now choose to enjoy any one of the Star Alliance member lounges.
The new Maple Leaf Lounge in Terminal 2B has large windows overlooking the airfield, a bistro, a spa-like shower and tv-equipped relaxation pods, providing a comfortable start to your journey. It is open seven days a week, from 4:30am to 12:30pm.
The lounge offers guests:
- Business facilities
- Complimentary food and beverages
- Dining and TV areas
- Complimentary international newspapers and magazines
- Free internet access

Lounge access
The Star Alliance lounge area includes luxurious First Class and Business Class lounges. The Business Class lounge is available to SAA Business Class, Voyager Life Time Platinum, Platinum, Gold card holders and Star Gold customers.
Platinum members will be invited to make use of the First Class Lounge subject to space availability.
